5 Skin Care Habits You Should Follow Before You Turn 30

Hey, lovelies!

The skin is youthful and soft and plumb till the age of 30. Many of us, who are blessed genetically, do not even have to fight the usual problems of skin such as blemishes, acne or premature ageing. Maybe that is the reason why most women believe their skin doesn’t need much of a skincare till they are 30 years old. However, the fact that your skin is healthy till 30 makes it even more important to maintain it well and keep it strengthened for a future phase. It is the best time to take all the measures to preserve its youthfulness. Note down these habits now.

Your body, just like your skin, remains fit, resistant and youthful on its own till 30. So it is good to make a habit of exercising regularly when it is time. Exercise cleanses your skin and inner organs by wreathing out the dirt inside. That is the reason why you get that glow on your skin when you are exercising regularly. It is as important as your skincare routine

2. How much water do you drink in a day?

This is the most popular, yet the most ignored way of keeping your skin youthful. Trust me, water can do wonders to your skin. So make sure you keep your skin hydrated by drinking at least 5 liters of water during a day. To improve the ability to drink higher amounts of water than you are drinking now, avoid drinking caffeine and colas.

3. Are you avoiding fats?

Not following a proper diet plan and binging on junk food will damage your skin for sure. But for a healthy looking skin, just having a diet that is both nutritious and full of fiber, such as a lot of fruits and veggies, is not enough. The intake of fats is also very important. A lot of young men and women commit this blunder of avoiding fats to look good. They must, on the contrary ensure a daily dose of seeds, nuts, and healthy oils, which make skin radiant and youthful.

4. How’s your skincare routine?

It is important to develop a good skincare routine habit so long as your skin is healthy. Do cleansing, toning and moisturizing at least twice a day. It is basic knowledge not to sleep with makeup on. Carefully remove every trace of makeup while are you preparing to go to bed as it plays a key role keeping up the glow on your skin.

5. Selection of skincare products

Remember to look for skincare products with antioxidants. Your facial oils and serums must have ingredients that contain vitamins A, C, E, as these protect your skin against air pollutants. Similarly, products with plant-based oils help restoring skin from sun damage. These ingredients also work against premature ageing by strengthening a dehydrated skin, preventing fine lines and wrinkles.

With all the above tips, be religious about applying your sunscreen, no matter what. The sun’s UV rays damage the skin, causing cancer and ageing. So there is no alternative to wearing sunscreen. If you follow these simple steps, you can keep up the youthfulness of your skin for many years to come.
