Amazing Curry Leaves DIY for Hair Growth, Hair Fall & Premature Greying

In fact some other causes as childbirth, Medication side effect, poor nutrition, hormonal changes, stress, pollution, chemical hair treatments, can all impact the health of our hair. Don’t worry! You will not need to spend too much money to buy expensive hair care products! So whats the solution? Our Nature is the answer! Yes, we should rely on something that is completely available in nature. Sounds Good? Read on . . . .

Today, I have come with simple yet extremely effective Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta) DIY.

Have you ever wondered about using curry leaves for your hair growth? The Curry leaves are the magical leaves for our hair!! The curry leaves are easily available around our home or kitchen garden. The curry leaves can do wonder to our hair. Curry leaves make an excellent home remedy for the hair growth as it has all the vital component which is very effective in treating damaged hair, adding bounce to limp hair, strengthening the shaft of thin hair, hair fall and treats dandruff.  Moreover its budget friendly too. Yippy!!

DIY 1 – Curry Leaves & Coconut Oil

Steps

  • Take half cup of coconut oil
  • Now boil the coconut oil in a pan and add half cup curry leaves in it.
  • Boil it till the leaves become black.
  • Let it cool down.
  • Strain it.
  • Your Magical Curry Leaves Hair oil is ready to use!
  • You can also store it in a plastic bottle for future use.

Application

Warm up the oil and apply it into your scalp. Use your fingers to massage it in for at least 20 minutes and leave it like that for overnight. Wash it off with any mild/herbal shampoo in the next morning. Always warm up the oil before you massage as increases more blood circulation and the oil penetrates well into the scalp.

Use this oil regularly 3 times in a week at night.

Benefit

Application of this oil, stimulates hair growth, prevents hair fall. In fact, it is one of the best remedies to prevent premature greying of hair.

DIY 2 – Curry Leaves & Curd

Use of curry leaves as hair mask for Healthy, Shiny and Bouncy hair

Steps

  • Take enough curry leaves (According to your hair length and thickness) and make a paste of them.
  • Now, mix this paste with almost double the quantity of Curd.
  • Your Hair Pack is ready to use

Application

Apply this paste to your scalp and leave it in for minimum 2 hours. Wash it off with tepid water.

Note: Due to the natural constituents of the leaves, your hair may feel a little sticky which is absolutely normal. If the stickiness is uncomfortable, wash your hair again with a herbal or mild shampoo to help reduce the stickiness. If you still see the curry leaves particles in your hair? Don’t worry. Once your hair dries, you will be able to comb out all the extra particles of curry leaves from your hair. Happy!!

Use curry leaves in your diet

Curry leaves are excellent appetizer! Mostly people love using it in cooking. Try adding more leaves for wonderful aromatic food as well as an amazing remedy for hair. I love putting it mostly with onions while cooking fried rice! Yumm-Yumm-Yummy!!!

Use Curry Leaves to make Hair tonic

You can also make a hair tonic from Curry Leaves. Simply boil the Curry leaves in water till the water turns in greenish color. Cool the solution. Now apply it into your scalp and massage it for around 20 minutes. This can be used as many times, as you want.

Use Curry Leaves to make Tea

Take handful washed curry leaves and boil them in water, add few drops of lime. No need to add sugar if you don’t want to consume those extra calories. Drink this tea daily preferably at breakfast time for 15 days. This will noticeably increase hair growth.

  2. I always used curry leaf flavoured oil during my childhood days and I totally loved it and I also agree with the fact that how effective it could be to your hair. It is an all rounder natural product.

  3. I had some dried curry leaves so I tried the curd method on my husband’s dry frizzy curly hair. Hell broke loose. I do not know, maybe he did not shampoo well. He went to office with a lot of curry leaves on his head. haha! Smelling like one too. I am thinking to give the first tip a try that’s why. :) Nice tips.

    • Haha! ;) this happens with me every time I do it with curd however I personally wash my hair every time plus once the hairs dries you can comb out all the extra particles of curry leaves from your hair. Do try oil Wala, it’s so good too!! Btw I am glad u liked my tips sweetie !! <3 <3

      • Oil one is sure shot. I tried the same procedure with amla fruit. People swear by the oil infused treatments. I am all about natural, homemade, self practised tips. I respect your labour put in. :)
