Amazing Remedies for Open Pores

Hey guys ! This week has been a very busy one for me that couldn’t post anything! I missed you all. :/ Did you miss me ?

Anyways, besides those panda under eye circles, acnes, wrinkles skin, there is another major problem mostly people are suffering from and that is “Open Pores”! Yes..Open pores are quite a big concern nowadays. I have had a lot of personal queries asking how someone would go about shrinking their enlarged pores. These open pores not only hamper your beauty but also can make your skin look aged, uneven and dull? Open pores can further increase other skin problems such as skin roughness, blackheads, and acnes. Isn’t it? Well, enlarged pores are very common in oily skin but that if you think that they don’t strike on normal skin people, unfortunately, they do!

So what exactly causes large pores? Well, whatever factors they are, whether its because of skin care negligence, hormonal changes or genetic, there are always some remedies that can help reduce the size of the pores and make them less visible on the face. Although, there is not a specific solution that would get rid of them completely. However, there are some remedies and preventions, which can certainly help you in minimizing them.

Here the solutions are! Read on . . . .

  • CTM is the first step to avoid them completely.
  • Always choose skincare products according to your skin type. Don’t use harsh soap on your face. It can aggravate skin pore enlargement and lead to more acne.
  • Use cleansers and toners that are mild and enriched with AHAS (Alpha Hyrdoxy acids). Strong or harsh products can make your skin over dry. Result, your oil glands will produce excess oil which can clog pores and enlarge them.
  • Avoid Oil-based Makeup because the oil content will again clog your pores.
  • exfoliate your skin to remove any excess dead skin cells or dirt in the pores.
  • Protect your skin from the sun. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes before going out as it will reduce the enlargement and clogging of pores.
  • Let your skin breathe throughout the night, never sleep in your makeup. Also try to decrease the amount of makeup you wear on your face.
  • Always take a proper healthy diet. Have food with tons of antioxidants, vitamin A, C and E as healthier you eat, healthier your skin will become.

These are some amazing home remedies to shrink your open pores :

1. Ice Cubes

You might have heard of rubbing an ice cube on face before applying makeup! Yes, you get it right! Due to skin tightening effect, the Ice remedy is simple yet very effective to shrink open pores. Wrap the ice cubes in a soft cloth and gently rub it on your face for 20 to 30 seconds.

Do this a few times daily until you achieve the desired results.

2. Sugar Scrub

Homemade sugar scrubs can do wonder to your skin. It can be a great help in reducing large pores as it removes excess oil and impurities. It also exfoliates the skin effectively and removes dead cells. Mix two tablespoons of sugar with one tablespoon of olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice. You can also add a few drops of honey too. Now, wet your face and then gently massage the scrub thoroughly in circular motion for 30 seconds and then wash it off with cool water. This scrub will instantly improve the appetence of pores.

Do it once or twice a week.

3. Egg whites

The egg has amazing tightening effects. It also helps in shrinking enlarged pores. Don’t think about it smell as it vanishes as soon as you wash your face. Simple take a whisk egg and apply it on your face evenly. Let it dry completely. Rinse it off with cool water. You may also cover your skin with tissue paper and peel it off when it dries.

For best results, do it twice or thrice a week for one month. You will definitely see the difference in your pores.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

This is one of the effective remedies for enlarged pores. Apple cider vinegar works as a natural astringent and can be used as skin toner if diluted with water. It reduces large pores, restores your skin’s natural pH and tightens your skin moreover it reduces inflammation due to acne. Mix equal amount of apple cider vinegar and water. Now soak cotton balls in it Soak a cotton ball in the solution and apply it to your face. Leave it on for a few minutes, and then rinse it off. You may also use it every night. Clean your face and use this solution as mentioned above and follow up with your night cream.

Do it daily, you will definitely see your improved skin within a few weeks.

5. Baking soda

The baking soda is a gentle exfoliator for your skin. It not only shrink your enlarged pores but it prevents black/white heads. Due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties it prevents acne and pimples. Its an excellent exfoliator to remove excess oil and dirt from your skin. Take one tablespoon baking soda and mix it with one tablespoon lukewarm water. Now apply this mixture on your face and then massage your in circular motion for a few seconds. Then wash it off with cool water.

Do this remedy daily for a week and you will see the visible results. Later you can reduce the frequency to every alternative day.

Note: Do not forget to moisturize your skin after using any of the home remedies mentioned above.
