How To Apply

• Moisturise your face and apply primer. Apply foundation all over face and neck, then blend. Set the foundation with the SUGAR As Nude As It Gets SPF15 Compact or your existing compact
• For an easy, every day contoured look, apply the bronzer under your cheekbones to sculpt and define. Use short brush strokes from the top of the cheekbone down towards the chin
• For a brilliant flush of colour use a blush brush and apply blush to the apples of the cheek.  Sweep the excess across the hairline, bridge of the nose and chin
• Apply pressed highlighter anywhere you want intense glow like the top of your cheekbones, over or under browbones, down the bridge of the nose, and even the inner corner of the eyes

My experience withSUGAR Contour De Force Face Palettes

Packaging – Oh I just love the elegant matte purple packaging! The palettes come in a very attractive sleek cardboard packaging with a magnetized flip lid further wrapped in a black glossy outer cover. It has a huge built-in mirror inside the lid, which is a great advantage for on the spot application. Needless to say, the magnetic closure is strong enough to keep the product secured and intact. Further, the name of the palette is motioned on the flip lid whereas all other necessary information is mentioned on the backside of the outer cover. These are trio palettes that contain a bronzer, highlighter, and a blush. Their individual packs are also available with the same packaging but sadly without a mirror. Overall, the packaging is excellent! Quite sturdy, compact and travel-friendly.

Shades and Swatches

The SUGAR Contour De Force Face Palette comes in two striking options:

01 SUBTLE SUMMIT

This subtle-themed face palette contains one soft, cool shade each of highlighter, bronzer, and blush.

The Bronzer, 01 Taupe Topper – it’s a cool-toned brown bronzer with a gray undertone, which makes it a perfect bronzer for all skin tones. I have a medium tan skin tone(NC42) and It contours my under chin area and nose pretty well. It’s definitely a great pick for high-defined contour look as well as for a natural contour look.

The Highlighter, 01 Champagne Champion – Wow! What a gorgeous highlighter! It’s champagne Gold Highlighter, which is going to suit all skin tones beautifully!! It immediately brightens up a dull face and gives a fresh and dewy look. Since it’s a very intense highlighter thus there is a chance to get overboard with it so always keep a light hand while applying it. Just a tiny amount of this highlighter gives a natural and healthy glow to the face. In short, it gives you that reflective illuminated look in just one go.

The Blush, 01 Peach Peak – This palette has a universally flattering soft peach pink blush, which gives a very healthy but natural flush. It’s a lighter shade but even though the blush is suitable for all skin tones. It’s a perfect blush for a subtle and daytime look which looks absolutely radiant and fresh on cheeks. The color is effortlessly buildable as well.

02 VIVID VICTORY

This vibrant-themed face palette contains one bold shade each of highlighter, bronzer, and blush.

(L to R): Woody Wonder (Warm Brown Bronzer), Gold Glory (Golden Bronze Highlighter) and Pink Pinnacle (Deep Rose Blush)

The bronzer, 02 Woody Wonder – This is a warm brown bronzer that wonderfully works to contour my face.  It blends effortlessly and gives a perfect sun-kissed look without the fake bake look! Even the tiniest amount is enough to warm the skin and add an instant bronzed glow. This is a perfect bronzer for all skin tones.

The Highlighter, 02 Gold Glory – It’s a beautiful golden bronze highlighter that gives you a natural, sunkissed glow! Since it’s a warm golden bronzy color and that’s what makes is so perfect for (warm undertones) the medium to dark skin. It looks on your skin as if you have been kissed by the sun. The more you build this on the more glamorous you will look! Definitely, it’s great highlighter for evening looks.

The Blusher, 02 Pink Pinnacle – What a prettiest deep rose blush! I have been craving for such a deep rose blush for sooo long and I am so glad that Sugar has finally fulfilled my wish! Trust me, I have never tried such a bold and beautiful blush till now! It gives my medium tan skin (NC42) such a pretty and vivid flush of pink. You can definitely make a natural look to dramatic look easily with it. The blush is so perfect for medium to deep skin undoubtedly! Fair skin beauties need to keep a light hand while applying this.

Texture, Formula and pigmentation:

Each of the 6 shades in the both SUGAR Contour De Force Face Palettes has excellent shading. These are extremely pigmented, just a touch of a brush is all you need.

These blend effortlessly on the skin without flaking or caking. These shades have a lightweight powdery and very soft texture that glides easily on the skin without any patchiness. The blushes and bronzers have a lovely velvety matte finish. Every shade is super silky to the touch and blends like a dream. Since these have a velvet formulation hence glide on very smoothly.

Staying power:

The bronzer, highlighter, and blusher they all have a great staying power. These do stay on the face for about 7+ hours without much fading and no patchiness in between!! However, highlighters fade a little bit but then I don’t mind reapplying it with my fingers. I have used both the palettes during the day as well as at nighttime and they work amazingly well for both.

If you ask my favorite shades among 6 then I would choose my bronzer and highlighter from 01 SUBTLE SUMMIT contour palette i.e. Taupe Topper (Cool-toned Brown Bronzer), Champagne Champion (Champagne Gold Highlighter) respectively and the blush in the shade of Pink Pinnacle from 02 VIVID VICTORY.
