My Experience with Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover 

Packaging

The Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Eye & Lip Make up Remover comes in an adorable tinted plastic bottle with a white colored screw on cap. It has another inner cap with a small opening which let only the adequate amount of product without even a drop of wastage. Yippyy!! The slightly tinted bottle allows you to see how much product is left. Such kind of packaging makes it very convenient to carry and fuss free.

Texture

It’s a gentle bi-phased makeup remover, which means a combination of oil and water. The consistency is very light weighted and runny like water. One needs to shake thoroughly before use so that both the layers gets mixed up well. The liquid looks transparent in color but as soon as you shake, it becomes hazy. It is mildly scented which makes it perfect for use on lips and eyes. Moreover it’s totally safe for the eyes, which doesn’t irritate eyes at all.

The Maybelline Total Clean Express Make up remover works wonderfully for both lips and eyes. In fact I use it to remove my face makeup as well. Removing waterproof eye makeup is the toughest job but trust me, this makeup remover, removes your toughest waterproof mascara / Eyeliner without putting much efforts and gives you squeaky clean lids and lashes. All you have to do is, shake the product thoroughly then pour some makeup remover on a cotton pad and place it on the eyes area for few seconds and then wipe it of gently. Follow the same to remove lips makeup as well. For me, it takes just 1-2 wipes to clear out my eyes/lips makeup completely but when it’s waterproof makeup then certainly it takes 2 or more wipes to remove it completely from my eyes.

I love how efficiently it removes eye makeup without stinging my eyes no matter if it enters into my eyes accidentally. Phewww! Now that’s a relief. I still remember when I was using Ayur cleansing milk for removing makeup and that stung my eyes terribly every single time!! It was such a task. :/ :/ Khair… That was about 9 years back. :D

Overall, Its a winning product!! As claimed, the Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover wipes off stubborn eye, lip and face makeup in seconds without leaving residue behind!Though, it does leave a very thin oil film behind but that is the case with most bi-phased make-up removing products. So, using face wash is always recommended after using it. As suggested earlier, never skip CTM after removing your makeup.
