Finally, the New Year is here and you all might be busy in making your resolutions list in your mind!! I love New Year’s resolutions! I am sure everybody does!

Since itโ€™s a New Year and New Year means a FRESH START!!! Every New Year is a fresh chapter for us. Its entirely up to us what exactly we want to write!! Isnโ€™t it ? So what will you write in the very first day of your new blank book? Lets start this chapter by setting some New Yearโ€™s resolutions and stick to them. Lets make it fabulous and healthy. Now you must be thinking what kinds of things you can do this year? Well, here is a list of resolutions that will help you look and feel great in 2016:

START MEDITATION ANDย FEED YOUR MIND & SOUL

If I say, spending few minutes on Meditation can improve you MIND and BODY! Yes! There are many scientific studies that show the various benefits of meditating on your health. Meditating helps to improve your immune system, self control and mood. It reduces stress and improves the ability to concentrate. It lessens anxiety too. You have all the reason. Go and begin this year with Meditation.

QUIT SMOKING

By now, you probably know that smoking can kill you. Decide today and quit smoking. Concentrate on other good things in your life. Understand that smoking will not reduce your stress ย  rather it will cause loads of wrinkles and serious health issues in future. So, take serious steps to quit, once and for all. Yippyy!

DO YOGA

Are you too lazy to go to gym? Well forget the gym if you donโ€™t want to! Yes. There is no hard and fast rule that says going to gym is the only way to get in shape. Rather do yoga at home. Go for cycling.

NO MORE FAD DIETS

As, I said in my previous post, Donโ€™t ever follow fad diets as they often come and go. You might get some benefits out of it for short term but they mostly have disadvantages. When you entirely exclude certain types of foods from your diet, you are actually depriving yourself of essential vitamins, minerals and fatty acids needed for healthy skin. Instead of jumping on the latest diet craze, eat better and nutritious diet.

QUIT JUNKIES

You know how junk food can harm you. Avoid junk food rather prefer cooking food at home which is no doubt is absolutely healthier. Moreover, you can control the ingredients and choose items that target your specific health goals this year.

SLEEP MORE

Sleep at least 8 to 9 hours. Less sleep can effect your skin, mood, weight and overall health, so make sure that 2016 is the year you start getting the recommended hours every night. WAIT ! ..At least read the full article then go to sleep! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Good Night!! ๐Ÿ™‚

REDUCTION ON DRINKING

Oh Hello.. I am not talking about water though! I am saying cut back on the alcohol. This will help you to control your weight and many deceases too.

LOSE THAT STUBBORN FAT

Ha ha.. This is my favorite resolution in this year! Lose your stubborn fat. Whether you are carrying just few kilos extra. Extra weight will cause extra diseases! So drink plenty of water. Get all tempting foods out of your home. Keep yourself busy so that you donโ€™t eat just because you’re bored. Oh come on! And never skip meals.

ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS

All of us have dreams in our lives that we want to achieve! Donโ€™t we? Dreams will be always dreams if we donโ€™t work on it. Do you complain yourself that you simply donโ€™t have time to work on your dreams? Stop! Donโ€™t complain and work on it. Take out time for your dreams whatever your dream is, big or small. Analyse your daily schedule, do proper time management. Dream it. REMEMBER, Everything begins in the heart and mind. So plan it and work on it.

PLAN A VACATION

There are end numbers of places to explore! Take a break and plan a vacation. Trust me, you will feel more refreshed. Moreover It’s a great way to distress yourself too. So, do shopping, explore new places, breath deep!! Whatโ€™s you plan for this year?

GET RID OF MESS AROUND YOU

Are you stressing yourself with all the mess you have at home? Being surrounded by mess can really swing your mood. Surround yourself with things that give you positivity!! Get new furniture, Floor lamp or anything you like. So clear out all the junks from home this year and distress yourself. Oh God, I have to clear junks too . . . ๐Ÿ˜€

PLAN YOUR FINANCES

Imagine you have thought to buy something youโ€™ve planning for and Gosh..You are running out of money? Finance difficulties are actually very stressful! Isnโ€™t it? So this year, set your priorities and spend accordingly. That ways you can control your finance. Happy Shopping!!

INCREASE YOUR CALCIUM INTAKE

Are you getting enough calcium ? Your bones need calcium to stay strong and healthy. Not getting enough calcium in your diet can lead to fragile, hard bones that are more prone to fractures and joint pains. As you get older, your bones start loosing bone mass or density, especially women. So boost your calcium intake by drinking one more glass milk. Eat more green leafy veggies, yogurt, cheese etc.

GET YOUR HEALTH CHECKUP DONE ASAP

This one is very important for all of us. Regular health checkups can help find problems before they start. Isnโ€™t it?ย No matter your age is, there is some important tests that are essential in a particular age group and time. The earlier, the better! Examples include a breast and pelvic exam are such tests. So Plan your date to Schedule your health check up as soon as possible.
