My experience with MAC LIGHT FESTIVAL EYESHADOW PALETTE X 9

Packaging:

It has a super cute packaging. It comes in a compact and handy palate with a transparent flip cover. The mini palette has 9 extremely beautiful eye shadows. Due to its compact size, It is absolutely travel-friendly and easy to carry.

Shades and pigmentation:

Light Festival Eye Shadow x 9 has 7 shimmery shades and 2 matte shades.

Here is a list of the shades in the palette:

1. Ricepaper – peachy gold with shimmer (Frost)
2. Goldmine – intense gold with shimmer (Frost)
3. Amber Lights – peachy brown with shimmer (Frost)
4. Copering – orange copper (Veluxe Pearl)
5. Cranberry – red plum with pink shimmer (Frost)
6. Embark – intense reddish brown (Matte)
7. Humid – intense green with shimmer (Frost)
8. Deep Truth – true dark blue (Frost)
9. Carbon – intense black (Matte)

As mentioned above, Embark and Carbon are matte shades and let me tell you that they are extremely pigmented and beautiful shades that can be used to create a smoky effect. You can even mix these two color to fill your brows. Embark is definitely a pretty reddish brown shade that can be used as a transition color for your eyes. Other 7 Shades are shimmery shades and amazingly pigmented too. The metallic, matte and shimmery eyeshadows are simply perfect shades to compliment your eyes for any special occasions!!

You can see, how amazingly pigmented they are! below swatches are without any base or primer. The intensity is to die for! <3 <3

I extremely happy with this purchase. All the shades are so beautifully smooth and are easy to work with. They have a decent lasting too. I used them with an eye primer and hey lasted almost 5 hours without creasing! Yes, Can you believe!. They blend nicely except Carbon. As it’s an intense black shade thus needs little more blending but then the results are so amazing!!
