My experience with Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Lustrous Sapphire
Packaging:
This gel pencil comes in black and blue and white packaging. The outer cover contains all the necessary information i.e. product description, manufacturing details, price, ingredients list etc. The gel pencil comes in a blue colored plastic packaging with a transparent cap. The blue colored pencil helps to identify the shade easily. It’s not a twist-up pencil that needs to be sharpened that means the product wastage! :/
Pigmentation:
This pencil is Crazily pigmented and shows vibrant color pay off with just one stroke!!! <3 <3
Texture and Shade:
Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Lustrous Sapphire Gel Pencil has an extremely soft gel texture and it glides on effortlessly on the lids or waterline without any tugging. Once it dries down, it’s pretty much resistant to any smudging and it doesn’t cause any irritation to my eyes. Coming to the shade “Lustrous sapphire” is a beautiful sapphire blue color, very close to the indigo color. It’s a matte finish gel, which will definitely suit all skin tones.
Staying power:
This gel pencil has amazing staying power! I have watery eyes but it stays on and doesn’t run. It stays put on my eyes for minimum 6 hours in my waterline and more than 10 hours on my lash line easily but doesn’t stay for 16 hours as per the description. It stays on and on even with sweating, it doesn’t run. I wore it during my gym time once where it smudged a bit but nothing too noticeable. It stays intact yet comes off easily with my makeup remover or baby oil.
P.S- When you do strong colors like this on the eye, be sure the rest of your makeup (i.e. cheeks and lips) is soft and natural.

Overall, Great pigmentation, very creamy texture, Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in “Lustrous Sapphire” really makes your eyes pop with instant rich and bold color just in a single stroke. Moreover, this stunning Sapphire shade would flatter all skin tones.I have dark brown eyes and it was looking so gorgeous on me. I am really glad I purchased this Gel Pencil. Finally, my search for the perfect blue eye pencil is over. If you are blue eye pencil lover like me, then this MUST be in your vanity. I am even planning to buy more shades from this range as this range has amazing colors!!!! <3 <3

looks great, however i am not a big fan of kajals when ive to sharpen them i prefer roll ons. but the color looks great. is this available in greys or browns as well?
It’s the only drawback else the pigmentation is to die for ! 👌 Yes they have other shades too ! Check their shade card on their website.
