My Experience with SUGAR Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick – 08 Wine and Shine:
The Lipstick comes is a classy matte finished outer carton. The outer carton has all the vital inform the product. Now, coming to the lipstick tube, it’s rectangular and clear tube with a matte black cap, which has the “Sugar” logo on it. The shade name and number are also mentioned at the bottom of the tube. The packaging is pretty sturdy and travel-friendly. The tube has a unique shape at the end, it’s in lipstick bullet shape at the end which is quite attractive!
There is a sponge applicator attached to the cap. The length of the applicator stick is so perfect for a better grip. The wand is bit small but picks enough product for a perfect application without wasting a drop of it. It defines your lips effortlessly even on the corners of your lips. As suggested earlier, always line your lips first and then apply your liquid lipstick to avoid accidental clown mouth.
SUGAR Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick – 08 Wine and Shine is a beautiful deep violet berry shade that looks extremely beautiful on the lips. It’s a vibrant shade with a hint of fuchsia. Must say, it’s a unique shade, which is extremely opaque and gives full coverage. Definitely, this is a superb color for summer and as well as for winter that will suit on all skin tones without any doubt! It is such a super lustrous shade, which will make their face glow instantly.
Texture & Pigmentation:
SUGAR Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick – 08 Wine and Shine has a medium and smooth texture, which glides on effortlessly without any tugging, It dries down approx. in 1 to 2 minutes into a BEAUTIFUL super matte lipstick. It doesn’t smudge or transfer. Once it dries it doesn’t budge for anything like literally “ANYTHING”. Do not forget to prep your lips before applying any matte lipstick. Since the formula of this lipstick is a little drying, so make sure to apply a good lip balm before applying it. This lipstick is extremely pigmented. As it goes opaque in just one go thus do not layer it up much else it may lead to patchiness. As mentioned above use a lip liner to define your lips first then apply lipstick for perfection.
Once it’s set, It doesn’t budge at all. It stays put on me approx 9 to 10+ hours! It stays on my lips through eating (light oily food) and drinking, Yes it survives incredibly well. The lipstick doesn’t smudge, transfer or fade at all!!!!!. It doesn’t budge until you eat something oily then it starts to wear off slightly in the center of the lips. Nevertheless, the pigmentation was superb after such long hours! The best part is that it does not flake or crumble. It fades off evenly leaving behind a lovely pink-purple tint. Since it has a stubborn tint thus removing it is a bit difficult, however, you can easily remove with oil-based cleanser or Johnson & Johnson baby oil/coconut oil.
