Straightening iron, blow dryers, curling irons, damage your hair. I always try to avoid them as much as possible. If you are using them frequently, please take a break!!!! Let your hair breath for some time. Whenever possible, air dry your hair.
There are end numbers of hair products available, but I’ve found that there are some hair recipes which are too beneficial for hair and can be easily prepared at home and guess what? It ends up costing less than the products you would buy though Market or Salons. Try them out. . . . . .
1. BEER HAIR RINSE
It may sound strange to rinse your hair with beer for your hair instead of drinking it, but the beer is known to have extremely beneficial effects on both hair and skin. The malt and hops found in beer are rich in proteins which actually help repair damaged hair and revive volume as well. Moreover, the sucrose and maltose sugars in beer help create shine. So girls if your hair is looking a dull and you would like to have a beautiful bounce in your hair, a bottle of beer is what you need!
Ingredients:
¼ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Cup Beer
Directions:
Mix them together. Pour the mixture over your hair, as a final rinse rubbing it in as best you can. Leave them for 5 minutes then rinse with warm water.
2. TREATMENT FOR OILY HAIR
Managing oily hair is a difficult task especially when your hair gets greasy just a day or two after washing it. I know that it can be so frustrating to wash your hair in every morning and by the time you get back home from your work, you look like you haven’t washed hair for a week! Ugh! But don’t you worry ladies, this amazing homemade recipe will squelch that oil!
Ingredients:
5 Tablespoons Plain Yogurt
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Baking Soda
Directions:
Mix all above together and apply to hair thoroughly, especially at the roots. Leave your hair for at least 35-45 minutes then rinse as usual. Please make sure that you won’t do this treatment more than once in a week.
3. GO BANANAS!
Not only can bananas work their magic for your health, but they are awesome for your hair too!
A Banana hair mask can add loads more moisture to your hair. It gives your hair bounce that may have been lost due to straightening, curling or blow drying. It leaves your hair soft, shiny and healthy looking!
Ingredients:
1 banana
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Directions:
Mix a banana with olive oil and mash thoroughly until the banana is pureed. Massage into your hair and scalp. let it sit for 30 minutes then rinse thoroughly and shampoo.
4. OATMEAL TREAT
Yes, you read it right! Oatmeal is very nourishing for your hair. It leaves you hair Healthy and soft silky. You only require 3 ingredients which you can easily find at home.
Ingredients:
½ Cup Oats
½ Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Almond Oil/Olive Oil/ Coconut Oil
Directions:
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Detangle your hair with the brush and apply to your hair. leave them minimum for 20 minutes and since them thoroughly with warm water. Shampoo as normal.
5. EGG WONDER
An egg can do magic to your hair! Eggs have so many components in it which are excellent for our hair. Moreover, it is beneficial for all hair types. It also helps your hair to grow faster and make them shinier than ever! Have you ever used eggs on your hair before? If not, please give a try to this recipe.
Ingredients:
Entire egg for normal hair
Egg yolk for dry hair
Egg White for oily hair
Directions:
Take 1/2 cup of your egg mixture and apply it to your damp hair, leave in for 20 mins, the rinse will cool water, then shampoo.
