Fit Me Matte + Poreless from Maybelline New York goes beyond skin tone matching to fit the unique texture issues of normal to oily skin for the ultimate natural skin fit. While some foundations can exaggerate pores and oily skin, only the FitMe Matte+ pore-minimizing foundation contains genius blurring micro-powders that erase pores and absorb oil for a naturally matte and poreless-looking finish.

How to apply: Apply foundation onto skin and blend with fingertips or an applicator and blend.

My Experience with Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation, shade-310 Sun Beige:

Packaging:

Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation comes in a thick glass bottle with a black screw lid. Though it doesn’t come with a pump dispenser yet I didn’t find it difficult to carry or difficult to use. But yes, since it has a wide spout, thus sometimes you might end up getting more than required so you have to be bit careful when you are pouring it out. Further, The packaging has the necessary details including the shade name and ingredient list etc.

Shade – Presently there are 6 shades available in India:

115 Ivory

This is the lightest shade which will suit beauties with extremely fair skin tone. This shade is perfect for MAC NW20-25

128 Warm Nude Beige

This is another light shade with a pale yellow undertone, perfect for fair skin beauties. I think you are between NC30-35 in MAC then this will suit you very well.

230 Natural Buff

This shade has bit orange undertone, which would go with fair to medium complexion. This will suit MAC NC35-37 skin tone beauties.

310 Sun Beige

This is my shade, and perfect for my NC 42 (medium skin tone). If you are between NC 40-42 then this is a right shade for you.

322 Warm Honey  

It is slightly in a (deep) warm undertone which will suit medium to dusky skin tones i.e. MAC NC42-44.

330 Toffee Caramel

This is the deepest shade from this range, which will suit the duskier complexion beauties. I think it will suit beauties with NC 45 complexion.

Texture & Formula:

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation has a slightly thick texture but It feels velvety and smooth. I have normal skin tone and this foundation blends effortlessly like a dream into the skin. If you have a dry skin then moisturize your face well before wearing this. The formula feels very lightweight. Since it has a matte finish yet it doesn’t creases or looks dry or feels cakey. I usually use my Beauty Blender to apply this as well as my fingers to blend it out and both ways, the formula blends easily and even out your skin very well.

Staying power: 

It stays put on my face for almost 7-8 hours easily. It didn’t get patchy or rub off in between. as per it claims It really keeps my face shine free. It mattifies my face but at the same time, it doesn’t make my skin even dry. Even it stays for really long in hot summer Moreover, it keeps your skin oil free all day long. Make sure to powder to set it if you have an oily skin! This way, it will keep your skin at bay with the oil and it will provide matte finish all day long.

Coverage:

It gives medium coverage with a matte finish. To be very honest I wasn’t expecting much from this foundation. I got it for Rs. 394 during the sale from Nykaa. But I am surprised that it hides imperfections such as pigmentation, blemishes pretty well. It evens outs the skin and feels like there is anything on your skin

• About the poreless claim, it doesn’t help much if you have large pores.

Overall Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation is true to what the company claims it to be. It’s a perfect shade, lightweight, long-wearing matte foundation for every day. It really hides the pores and imperfections well and gives a velvety smooth finish. I am pleasantly surprised by how this foundation fits my skin tone and texture exactly!! Plus the price makes it even better. Definitely, a must have beauty product.

Certainly my new favorite after M.A.C! <3 <3
