How to Apply: For a subtle defining line, draw the tip of the pen from the inner to the outer eye corner, sticking as close to the lash line as possible. Slant the pen and add more pressure to create a bolder line or continue to layer until you achieve desired definition.

Additional Details: Shake the eyeliner pen before using so the formula saturates the felt tip. For best results, wipe tip with a damp tissue before applying to prevent powder build-up, which may cause the eyeliner pen to dry out. Made in Korea and currently available in the shade “01 I’ll Be Black”.

My Experience with Arrested For Overstay Waterproof Eyeliner – 01 I’ll Be Black (Black)

Packaging:

The Sugar Arrested for Overstay Waterproof Eyeliner comes in a beautiful matte finished, sleek cardboard packaging with all the vital product details including Sugar’s logo and manufacturing details on it. Unlike Sugar cosmetics other products, this outer box has some glossiness instead of their usual classic matte finished packaging. I love how Sugar cosmetics is improving their packaging with every new launch. Coming to the eyeliner, the actual eyeliner comes in a sleek and semi-matte finished pen form. It looks very cute, just like any of our writing pen. It’s very light weighted too.

I am really impressed with the tip of the eyeliner as it is really fine for a precise application and length of the tip ensures a good control while lining the eyes. You may easily draw thin as well as a thick line with this. It’s extremely handy to work with even if you are a beginner. Trust me you can easily create your dream winged eyeliner in a few seconds with this. The eyeliner has some probably some cushioned inside the cap thus the cap closes very tightly with a click sound that makes it airtight and prevents from drying. I found the packaging very sturdy and travel-friendly.

Shade and pigmentation:

The eyeliner comes in darkest black shade 01 I’ll be back”. The eyeliner is extremely pigmented and only one swipe is enough for a daily look as well as for bold party look, It gives a very jet-black finish.

Texture and Formula and Staying Power:

The texture of this eyeliner is very smooth but not too runny. It has a very smooth soft texture, which easily glides on eyes without tugging. It dries down just in few seconds and gives a semi-matte finish look. It doesn’t peel off like any other eyeliner and stays put on my eyelids at least 7-8 hours which is a quite decent staying power and after that, it starts fading a little bit but it doesn’t smudge. About its waterproof claim, it is not 100% waterproof. The eyeliner doesn’t come down or smudge when you splash water on to your face, It stays intact unless you rub it with your hands and then it fades completely. But then the best part is that it is very easy to remove it using just water and soap.

I was so impressed with this eyeliner that I couldn’t resist creating a graphic eye look!
