So today, I am going to review a Hot Pink lipstick from L’Oreal Paris Pure Reds Color Riche Collection Star Lipstick in Pure Amaranthe. Read the review to know how this lipstick performed . . . .

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Pure Reds Color Riche Collection Star Lipstick in Pure Amaranthe:

Packaging:

All the L’Oreal Paris Pure Reds Color Riche Collection Star Lipsticks come in an attractive black and gold packaging. The bullet enclosed in a golden bullet case, which makes it look completely luxurious. There is a little window on it which makes it easy to identify the shade. Since Pure Amaranthe is Gong Li’s choice and thus autographed by her! <3 :* :* The bullet shape is so good to apply in the corners lips with ease. Anyway, but I still love applying lipsticks with a lipstick brush.

Texture, Color and Pigmentation:

Pure Amaranthe has an absolutely creamy texture that settles down to a matte finish. Being a creamy matte lipstick it doesn’t dry out the lips. Coming to the color, Pure Amaranthe is a magnificent deep fuchsia pink shade with a red undertone that I am deeply in love with. I think this lipstick will flatter all skin tones especially fair to medium. In terms of Pigmentation, this one is super pigmented but not as Pure Garnet. These two lipstick have a different texture altogether as Pure Garnet is insanely pigmented more matte plus it leaves a thick layer on your lips. On the other hand, Pure Amaranthe is a bit thin in texture and does leave a thin layer on the lips hence you need at least 2 swipes to build up the color. It transfers a bit immediately after the application yet it stays put for the whole day once its set. It lasts for almost 6 to 7 hours and survives lite snacks to heavy meals and drinks quite easily.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Pure Reds Color Riche Collection Star Lipstick in Pure Amaranthe:

• The only problem with all L’Oreal Paris Pure Reds Color Riche Collection Star Lipsticks is that their lipstick bullets break very easily at the base. This is my 3rd lipstick from this range and again bullet just broke after first use. It was like I was getting a heart attack for the 3rd time! :/ Earlier, I had the same experience with Pure Garnet and Pure Rouge too!

Pure Amaranthe is an amazing blend of bright pink and red (read is as more pink) which is effortlessly flattering on most of the Indian skin tones. Besides, It is an all year round shade must say! It delivers absolutely beautiful bright and rich color that lasts minimum for 6 hours that too without budging and feathering. After that, it leaves behind a beautiful pinkish stain on lips.

If you are looking for a gorgeous hot pink color lipstick with bold hue (of course you are ..Valentine’s day jo aa raha hai! ;)) then unmistakably go for this feminine lippy and enhance the beauty of your lips!!
