For me, rainy days are meant for drinking coffee and blogging! <3 <3 <3 <3 According to a study done in 2005, “nothing else comes close” to providing as many antioxidants as coffee. But, do you also know when applied topically, it has the ability to leave you with a glowing complexion! Isn’t it great?  There are lots of coffee scrubs available in the market and I have got Caffeine Infused Body Scrub by Raw Rituals. I have used this scrub a couple of times and here is my take on it  . . . . . . .

How to use:

My experience with Raw Rituals Caffeine Infused Body Scrub

Packaging:

it comes with transparent and wide jar with brown color screw cap. The screw cap shuts tightly which makes it travel-friendly. Its brown color label contains all the necessary information about the product. I really loved the simple yet attractive packaging.

Texture:

The scrub is in semi powder form with full of grainy particles. I could clearly see salt, coffee beans, sugar particles in it. The scrub is brown in color because primarily though, it’s coffee. It just smells like a freshly ground pouch of coffee, heavenly! The scrub spreads evenly and easily on dampened skin.

I take the adequate amount of it and scrub it in circular motions on my dampened skin for approx. 2 minutes or until the sugar and salt particles get dissolve completely. Further, I leave it for next 4-5 minutes and then rinse it off. The coffee actually has the power to aid blood flow, so don’t worry, if you see your skin turning red during scrubbing. It is quite normal.

Coffee contains natural ingredients that plump the skin making it appear less wrinkled, rejuvenated and smooth. Moreover, the combination of Himalayan salt and sugar do excellent work to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. I used it twice a week. After my first use my skin felt extremely soft and hydrated because of the oils in the product. It felt like a deeper scrub than just a regular scrub and it didn’t dry out the skin. I must say that, it is an excellent exfoliator that removes dead skin cells and adds wonderful glow to my skin. It contains Almond oil which is rich in Vitamin E that helps in repairing, rejuvenating, as well as revitalizing your damaged skin ensuring it is left feeling relaxed and looking great.
